Handkerchief case with embroideryThe most convenient handkerchief-case for carrying in the suit case or bag is one made like design No. 154-40. The bottom of the case is made of a four-and-one-half-inch square cardboard, covered with plain green linen. The top piece has a simple embroidery design, and is made of a two-and-one-half-inch square of cardboard, covered the same as the bottom. Between the linens, on opposite sides, is sewed a strip of elastic, matching the linen. This elastic extends around the hot torn of the case, holding the two snugly together. The handkerchiefs are placed between the sections.

A novelty in napkin-rings is shown at the bottom of the page. These will be especially appreciated in the summer cottage, as several designs are given, allowing an opportunity for individual rings. TheseNapkin ring and comb case rings are made of mercerized belting, not quite two inches wide, one end being finished with a narrow hem, and the other with three buttonholed scallops and a simple embroidery design. The strip is rolled and held in place with a button and loop.

A nice comb-and-brush case for the traveler is made of tan linen, which is not easily soiled, and is embroidered in two shades of brown. After embroider¬ing the small section, fasten it in place on the bag with a row of feather-stitching.
